In 2010, entrepreneur Jennifer Frederick opened the doors to "One Mom and a Mop" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after leaving her career in Education to raise her son as single mom. Her vision was to provide an affordable and reliable solution in superior house cleaning for busy homeowners and professionals.

As her son grew and graduated, so did her business. Residents of this competitive industrial town were drawn to her new home cleaning service, valuing the work-life balance Jennifer and her staff is able to provide. As a result, One Mom and a Mop quickly expanded into both home and commercial cleaning - Prime Maids Cleaning was born.
